Session The session is the governing body of our Church. It consists of 21 men and women elected by the members to serve three-year terms. It's main responsibilities are to oversee all Church organizations and activities, to minister to the needs of the congregation, and to effectively respond to the mission of our Church.
Deacons The Board of Deacons is composed of 18 men and women of compassion, empathy, good cheer and objectivity, who minister to those in need and to the sick, friendless, and distressed. They serve through programs of care, nuturing, and visitations. They prepare the elements and arrange the communion table when the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is to be celebrated. They have various committees that take care of the needs of our Church family.
Property Committee The Property Committee supervises the maintenance of the building and grounds and supervises our custodian. They recommend policies on assignment of space and facility use.
Christian Education Committee The Christian Education Committee coordinates the educational activities of our Church.
Finance Committee The Finance Committee is responsible for the supervision oversight, and administration of stewardship within the congregation and the various organizations.
Stewardship Committee The Stewardship Committee is responsible for our annual pledge drive, and other fund raising activity in the church.
Membership Committee The Membership Committee is responsible for developing a spirit of family within our congregation and for all visitors. They hold Orientation for those who wish to join our church.
Mission Committee The Mission Committee searchs for areas of need from local to worldwide, then organizes support for these projects with time, talents, and funds while keeping our congregation informed.
Human Relations Committee The Human Relations Committee is involved, along with the Session, in the hiring and timely evaluation of staff and all employees, as well as promoting a harmonious working atmosphere and relationship within our Church.
Planning Committee The Planning Committee has the responsibility of developing a multi-year plan of operations for our Church body, its understanding, implementation, and impact.
Worship Committee The Worship Committee is responsible for monitoring all matters pertaining to services of worship and makes recommendations as needed. They also provide a wedding coordinator and a bereavement coordinator to assist members and their families.
Living Legacy Committee The Living Legacy Committee has the responsibility of developing and overseeing large gifts to the church and our church endowments.
